Cowlitz Indian Tribe Presentation: Upper Grays River Watershed Restoration Project
The Board of County Commissioners and the Grays River Grange are hosting Pete Barber, Cowlitz Tribe Habitat Restoration Program Manager, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at the Grays River Grange Hall.
The presentation will highlight past, current and future restoration efforts in the upper Grays River watershed.
The project’s goal is to place trees and woody material into the stream in the upper watershed to increase fish habitat while simultaneously reducing the transport of sediment into the lower watershed.
Everyone is invited to attend.
