THE NEXT GRAYS RIVER GRANGE MEETING IS NOVEMBER 8TH at 6:30 PM

Hey everyone, we have a Grays River Grange meeting coming up on Tuesday, November 8th at 6:30 PM.

All are welcome to join us as we gather and share in camaraderie and fellowship. When the work of the day has ended, we have an opportunity to be together, to discuss natural observances of the world around us, and issues of the day.

Visitors are always welcome, and we’d love to hear about what’s happening in your garden, community, on your farm, in your neighborhood, and anything else you’d like to bring to the table.

Being a part of the Washington State Grange is a wonderful thing. “The People’s Voice of Washington” is what they say at The Washington State Grange website, and it’s true. We really do have a voice.

COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE NEXT GRAYS RIVER GRANGE MEETING, OCTOBER 25th, 6:30 PM

At our last Grange meeting we shared food together with our scrumptious potluck, and it’s kind of fun to think about the fact that people have been gathering and sharing food together in this same building since 1902!

We talk, we laugh, sharing stories and camaraderie with each other.

You are always welcome to join us, and feel free to bring a friend if you like.

We’d love to see you at the Grange!

HELP RESTORE THE HISTORIC DEEP RIVER PIONEER CHURCH

Did you know there is a restoration project happening right now at the Deep River Historic Pioneer Church?

This is an amazing building that is filled with over a hundred years of history!

Construction began in 1898 by local Finnish settlers, and the church doors opened in 1902.

During the Finnish-American Folk Festival, the church would be open for visitors to see the interior of this beautiful building, and In 1974, the Deep River Pioneer Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Finnish-American Folk Festival ~ 2022

The Grays River Grange was thrilled to be back at The Finnish-American Folk Festival for 2022!

We had a wonderful and exciting time preparing our Salmon Dinner and it was so popular this year, we ran out of dinners well before closing time at 3:00 pm.

The Finn Fest was packed with people and it was such a treat to be there with everyone celebrating our Sisu!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Finn Fest, to each person who purchased and enjoyed the delicious Salmon Dinner, to all the hard working Grangers who prepared the meal, and special thanks to Mike Backman for supplying the delicious, fresh salmon.

The proceeds from sales of the Salmon Dinner go to support the ongoing commitment to community service provided by the Grays River Grange. From maintaining and beautifying Ahlberg Park, Meserve Park, and The Grays River Grange Cemetery, to providing a safe and comfortable meeting space for local community organizations, hosting the annual Christmas Dinner, hosting candidate forums, and much more!

We are looking forward to Finn Fest 2024!

We Grangers are pledged to be quiet and peaceful folks who serve our community, and we are an all volunteer organization.
