Grays River Grange is sponsoring the Spelling Bee at the 2021 Wahkiakum County Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Spelling Bee is to be held Saturday, August 21 at 1:00PM in the Skamokawa Grange hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Contest Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1) Prizes are $75 (1st), $50 (2nd), $25 (3rd)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Two Divisions for kids going into<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1st Division (Lower): 3rd, 4th and 5th grades<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2nd Division (Upper): 6th, 7th, and 8th grades<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2) Words will be picked at random from a list that corresponds with the grade the participant is going into<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3) There are NO take backs<\/p>\n\n\n\n ex. door- response, D.O.E, oh, I mean D.O.O.R does NOT count<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4) Last two participants left on stage engage in a spell off<\/p>\n\n\n\n * If 1st person mis-spells, 2nd person has to spell correctly the same word.
